What can I say, I’m a hopeless romantic for those things that money can’t buy. The lighting at golden hour, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, the airbrushed sky of the desert at sunset, two best friends sharing a kiss atop a blanket of budding wildflowers. These are the things that make my heart sing.

Meet Vito - The Other Half of Alexis Hamey Photography!
Vito capture's the second perspective from your wedding day. He's knowledgable, friendly and - if you're asking me, just the absolute best coworker on the planet. He's gone from casually assisting to taking on a more direct role around here. Preserving love from the perspective of a husband. His specialty is peeling back the layered exteriors of those men in our lives who, (if we're being honest) are a bit apprehensive about photos, and relating to them on a personal level. The result? Images that are true to the spirit of the man in frame and the stories of triumph they hold close to their chest.

This is a journey more unique than ever imaginable, because it’s yours, entirely and wholly. Understanding the depth of that allows me to showcase your love in a way that reflects it authentically. Instagram worthy. But, most of these things only exist in a vacuum, where everything is produced and perfectly positioned. Leaving no room for authenticity. The real take? Life and love aren't perfect. And that is PERFECT! Embracing the journey means to allow the day to unfold as it was meant to be. Dancing in the rain. Pivoting like a pro. Because the messy memories you make along the way are more valuable than any “picture perfect” product. Trust me. ;)

There's the playful and energetic side, who brings out the core mems of you and your love frolicking in a field. Imagine playing tag like you're kids on the playground again.
There's the sentimental and emotional side, who notices a soft whisper of sweet nothings during the in between moments.
There's the organizational, Type A, side of me that has to have a plan, a backup plan, and a backup for the backup.
Above all else, I strive to be a good human and friend. I care about you. It just so happens that I adore documenting love stories too.
